Ping Han
Property Sales Ping is a co-founder of Place Sunnybank, which she established with her husband, Owen Chen. Together, they have completed sales of over $700 million across hundreds of properties on Brisbane's southside. Ping takes a straightforward, transparent approach to client communication and negotiation, and works closely with the sales team as a mentor. Property Management and Leasing Ping set up the property management department in 2016, personally leasing and managing each property in the early years. That groundwork has shaped the team at Place Sunnybank today, with a focus on organisation, training, technology, and customer service. She continues to mentor team members, refine processes, and run weekly training for her property managers. Ping is a strong supporter of REIQ standards and works to keep the team's practices aligned with industry best practice. Agency Operations Drawing on her earlier corporate experience in operations, Ping built Place Sunnybank's backend systems with the goal of reducing manual work so the team could spend more time with clients. The result is a set of streamlined processes that gives agents more room to focus on buyers and sellers, and gives property managers additional capacity to support clients and tenants. Beyond Real Estate Before real estate, Ping worked in finance and operations roles at Queensland Treasury and within the superannuation industry, with a focus on unit pricing, tax, fees, investment efficiency, and international tax compliance. She holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering, a Diploma in Superannuation, CPA certification, and an REIQ real estate licence.
